We currently have an opportunity for a Tendering Manager for Building Automation & Security to join our Smart Infrastructure team. The role is national and may be based out of either Bayswater, VIC, North Ryde, NSW or Bowen Hills, QLD office. As the Tendering Manager your primary responsibility will be to provide strategic development & leadership to the sales engineers, as well as fostering strong customer relationships and positioning Siemens as their go to partner. Key responsibilities may include: * Lead, develop, and motivate a group of dedicated qualified Sales Engineers to achieve the targets set. * Manage Tendering activities, ensuring cost accuracy in tender responses. * Ensure adherence to defined guidelines, processes, and procedures, for the Sales Engineering Team assigned. * Innovate and drive efficient solutions where improvements to existing processes can be found. * Provide suitable work environment and implements people management processes. * Plan and allocate resources and budgets to tendering and bid activities. * Ownership of the tendering process, tools, and strategies, including stakeholder management, developing and maintaining effective tendering processes and compliant tenders. * Oversees Key Performance Indicators to improve efficiency and competitive offerings The successful candidate will have experience managing a team of technical project personnel within the Building Technology space, as well as experience managing the tender process from opportunity identification through to successful award. Your strong leadership and communication skills and ability to build sound working relationships will ensure your success in this role.
