Huashang College is a private independent college founded in April 2004 with the approval of the Ministry of Education of China. It was established jointly by Guangdong University of Business Studies-a major university in Guangdong Province, and the Sun City Group of Guangzhou.

The college is situated on Licheng Street, Zengcheng, Guangzhou, where the surroundings are beautiful and the traffic is convenient. The campus occupies 80 hectares of land with more than 500,000 ㎡of buildings, which are composed of spacious and bright teaching mansions, an experimentation building, a conference building, students and teachers’ living quarters and cafeterias. The college is equipped with modern multimedia classrooms, accounting practice and training rooms, laboratories, language labs, computer rooms, automobile experimentation workshops, a simulated court, etc. In accordance to national criteria, the college has built a standard 400-m field & track playground and fields for basketball, badminton, volleyball and other sports. The magnificent Central Library of a construction area of 30,500 ㎡ has a collection of 1065000 books including 330,000 electronic ones.
