The English School Attached to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, is a top tier Primary-High school, based in the Baiyun District of Guangzhou is now hiring primary teachers.

If you are a Native English speaker, hold a Bachelor degree or above, have prior primary teaching experience and a clean criminal record, you could be the latest member of a tight-knit, international team!

The E.S. is a semi- boarding school, meaning that Students arrive on Sunday, and go home on Friday at 10:35am. Only Monday to Friday schedule and you will be expected to work no more than 21 contact periods per week (35mins for primary) WITH NO OFFICE TIME!
Classes are split 50/50 with your co-teacher, and are usually no more than 20 students.

Salary is based on a skills and experience tier, as such:
  • 5+ Years 14,000
  • 3-5 Years 13,000
  • 1-3 Years 12,000
  • Less than 1 year 11,000
In addition, if you hold any of the following, you shall be awarded extra accordingly!
  • Celta/tesol/TEFL-500 (not online)
  • Masters-1000
  • PhD-1500
Plus Overtime! (optional)
  • 200 yuan overtime pay for ESL class
  • 260-300 yuan for Cambridge class (possible increase, it’s being discuss)

  • 1 month salary upon completion of contract (paid in July)
