Native English Writers and Editors for a Study Abroad Applications Agency (Positions available for 100% Remote or In-Office Roles) — (Established Company with Locations Across China and the UK)

Premium Edu Consulting Co. (PEC) has several openings for new members to join their highly diverse and international team of freelance writers and editors.
Established in 1998, PEC opened its first offices in London in the UK and then expanded across mainland China, operating in cities like Shanghai, Beijing, and Nanjing. Throughout this time, we have made it our mission to assist Chinese students in expanding their horizons by facilitating their application to academic programmes overseas. We provide end-to-end service and handle each aspect of their applications to foreign universities, including undergraduate, masters and PhD degrees in the UK, USA, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Applying to schools overseas can be really stressful, so we do our best to help students in any way we can, especially since English might not be their native language.
Currently, we have opened several additional positions for new members to join our team of foreign consultants. This role is fully remote (candidates who are interested in working on-site in Beijing/Shanghai/Nanjing are encouraged to send further inquiries) and can be done anywhere in the world, however, please note that some of the work (brainstorming calls) need to be scheduled during the company’s normal operating hours, Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM China Standard Time (CST).
Generally, Foreign Consultants Carry Out the Following Tasks:
-Creative Brainstorming with Students
-Writing Personal Statements and Reference Letters Based on materials Provided
-Editing and Enhancing the Overall Quality of Written Documents in English
-Regularly Provide Updates with Colleagues on the Chinese Side
Ideally, you are/have:
-Solid Writing Skills
-A Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s/PhD from a UK/USA/Singapore/Australian
-Good Computer Literacy and Knowledge of Microsoft Word
-Comfortable working independently
-Excellent time management skills and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
-Highly Organised and Detail Oriented
-Strong Ability to master new basic knowledge quickly
-Proactively address problems that arise
-NO CHINESE NEEDED
Compensation for Members Working in a Freelance Capacity is Based on the Number of Projects or Tasks Completed.
Approximate Rates:
Brainstorming Calls (1 hour per call) 50$/350RMB
Document Editing/Polishing (Per 1000 words) 42$/300 RMB
Document Writing (Per 1000 words) 56$/400RMB

* Invoices are settled on a monthly basis. They can be paid out to a domestic Chinese account or transferred internationally.
