Responsibilties :

• Delivers English language lessons to students
• Designs and collaborates with other English Department members in course curriculum development through planning implementation, evaluation and production of materials
• Organizes and runs English learning activities such as drama and speech events to create and enrich English learning atmosphere in school and enhance students’ English learning competence
• Attends meetings, training and professional development workshops
• Monitors and evaluates students' performance and progress in and outside classroom
• Provides appropriate feedback to students, teachers and parents
• Good understanding of needs and preferences of teenage boys

Requirements :

• Creative, devoted, independent and a good team player
• A native English speaker
• Have a recognised university degree
• A holder of a recognised English language teaching qualification or equivalent (e.g. PGDE or CertEd)
• Experience in teaching in a local secondary school is an advantage
• Candidates are required to meet the EDB Qualifications for Appointment of Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) under the Enhanced NET Scheme in Secondary Schools
