Responsibilities:

Datacenter Infrastructure 

• Assists the implementation and support of all datacenter network services
• Supports company standards and guidelines that guide the design of network solutions across enterprise-wide hardware and software applications
• Assists project team as appropriate
• Helps to evaluate new products, maintains knowledge of emerging technologies for application to the enterprise
• Evaluates technology options to ensure selected solutions are cost effective and produce a recognizable return on investment
• Provides appropriate levels of support for all aligned functions, per the IT Accountability matrix

Network Infrastructure 

• Assists in network planning, design, and optimization
• Assists in strategies for network systems solutions using current and emerging technologies. Translates business requirements into network or process designs
• Participates in planning and recommending network hardware and architecture
• Monitors network performance and capacity planning, and assists in assessing and making recommendations for improvement
• Performs troubleshooting procedures and designs resolution scripts
• Configures and maintains routers, switches, firewalls, link & application load balancers, SSL-VPN gateways, web proxies, wireless controllers & access points, authentication server and remote access for the network services
• Analyze network logs to ensure proper functioning of network and security functions
• Actively participates as a project team member for global & regional IT projects to provide a network perspective and ensure standards are followed
• Provides assistance for the technical support team as it relates to all network services
• Performs deployment or maintenance procedures as well as repair work on network related hardware and software (e.g., firewalls, routers, switches, etc.). This includes NOS configuration and maintenance
• Performs testing and analysis of all elements of the network, including communications devices, lines, and switches

Job Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5-8 years’ experience in Multi-National Enterprise network related field with datacenter & operations background are mandatory
• Networking experiences in TCP/IP, routing, VPN & SSL VPN, firewall, proxy, web-filtering, DMZ, WAN optimization, link/application load-balancing, cabling infrastructure, supervision & reporting tools
• Advanced experiences in Cisco solutions (switch, router, wireless, ISE) & firewall (Next Generation Firewall is preferable) are mandatory
• Knowledges in IDS/IPS, Domain & SSL certificate registration/management, GeoDNS, Remote Network/Power Management are preferable
• CCNA (Routing and Switching/Data Center/Wireless) certified is mandatory
• Good command of both written and spoken in English & fluent in Mandarin under technical and business context
• On-call support during non-office hours by request & occassional travel within Asia is required
