Job Description
Network Capacity Manager
The Network Capacity Manager supports mid-term execution and long-term growth of the CCCT BU by alignment of demand to the appropriate site to maintain network balance, providing network capacities to support the SIOP process, and developing and maintaining the CCCT long term capacity view that informs and aligns with the capital planning process for the CCCT network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with project management, product management and the technical transfer teams to ensure that SKU’s are capable to be manufactured at the appropriate site.
- Strong engagement in the SIOP process to make sure network data (Demand/Supply) at a SKU level flows to the correct site and is visible to the functional areas.
- Use growth plans confirmed with BU leaders via demand planning by asset type for capacity planning.
- Collaborate with manufacturing & financial for most cost-effective footprint to support capacity plan.
- Drive tactical process improvements to the long-term Capacity planning process and ensure the process stays connected to the 12-18-month SIOP process.
- Work with Functional leadership to develop and maintain the CCCT long term capacity model for the CCCT network.
- Constantly look for JDI (Just Do it) opportunities that provide an immediate impact.
- Be able to back up planning when required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Experience in leading and driving projects across multiple functional areas.
- Experience in production planning and capacity management policies and procedures, the capability to evaluate capacity models, smooth production loads and identify and overcome constraints.
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing concepts and principles, finite scheduling, product flow, data management, and supply chain planning.
- Highly knowledgeable regarding MRP principles and system dynamics.
- Familiarity and experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
- Highly proficient in managing and analyzing data in Excel; complex pivot tables & reporting, power query, advanced charting, data analysis.
- Ability to demonstrate influencing skills, judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external customers.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Strong organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting creation of processes outside an ERP environment and integrating them into the environment
- Certified in production and inventory management, supply chain management, or Project management; APICS CPIM, CSCP, Project management PMP, or ISM CPSM
- Lean/six sigma green belt or higher
- Planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing MRP/ERP tools (Made2Manage, Oracle, SAP, JDE, server-based systems)
Ability to travel up to 25%
