We are now recruiting a contract role for our client in public sector to provide support for implementation of the system and participate in network support tasks and other project activities.

Job Duties:

• To provide technical support on WAN/LAN environment with specific focus on Metro-Ethernet network, core routers, network switches, firewall appliances and load balancers
• To liaise with users and vendors for requirement study, implementation and on-going support activities
• To participate in technical specification development and proposal evaluation for new projects / enhancements
• To prepare test plan and conduct acceptance test
• To install security patches and upgrade on various hardware platforms and software applications
• To perform administration tasks and backup job related to various network and server platforms
• To update technical documents and prepare operation manual
• To perform on-call support and other duties as required, and work outside normal working hours if necessary
  
  

Requirement Details:

• Higher Diploma or above in IT or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in network infrastructure support/ administration and configuration,
• preferably on Cisco / Juniper equipment in the WAN/LAN environment
• Sound knowledge in OSPF routing adopted in WAN/LAN environment
• Sound knowledge in IT security standard and framework
• Hands on experience in firewall products, such as Cisco Firepower, Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls
• Knowledge in Network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWind, Cacti, WhatsUp Gold, Splunk, is preferred
• Possession of certifications of CCNA, JNCIA or equivalent is preferred
• Independent, proactive and able to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
• HK Permanent Resident is required
