How will you make an impact?

This Network Engineering position will focus on Cloud Networking and developing automation workflows, as well as implementation and configuring new & existing network components and implement network upgrades. You will collaborate with business, operations, network engineering group & vendors to build and automate the solutions which will enable faster, scalable deployment and management, globally This role will be a key part of a multifunctional team that implements, supports, secures, and maintains the underlying infrastructure.


What will you do?
  • Working directly with our customers to understand their business requirements to ensure networking projects are properly implemented
  • Install, and support network solutions in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Responsible for configuring and supporting critical cloud and corporate network solutions
  • Performs problem isolation and resolution of network problem
  • Act as tier 2 escalation for network issues and be the go to person, for the cloud networking component
  • Find opportunities to improve the enterprise network by implementing the network standards that have been established by the Global Networking Services team
  • Participating in the on-call rotation with other members of the team to ensure support coverage for the global enterprise network, reporting status on a regular basis to ensure that management is aware of project status
  • Managing and monitoring the Service Now work queue to address incidents & customer requests within the established service level agreements

How will you get here?
  • BSc in Computer Science, information Technology, Information security or similar field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with configuring, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting routers and switches in an enterprise environment
  • Hands on experience with, Cisco, Arista, Fortinet & F5 products and services.
  • Hands-on in routing and switching to include multicast, OSPF, BGP, STP Proficient level and hands-on experience with Cisco/Arista Routing and Switching Product family
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates
  • Prior experience with cloud modernization effort is (Desired)
 
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Current certification such as AWS Advance Networking, CCNP, CCDP.
  • Network: Cloud Networking, SD-WAN, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, VPN, Firewalls, Router, Switch, Load Balancer, Product: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Silver Peak/Velo Cloud, Arista, Automation: Ansible, Terraform, or Python
  • Must have strong analytical skills related to basic financial and contract analysis.
  • Be a self-motivated, highly ethical individual with a demonstrated ability to work as independently as well as with a team.
  • A strong desire to establishing credibility with fellow engineers through teamwork and collaboration.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritize multiple objectives and initiatives.
  • Develop, plan, direct and control strategic short- and long-term objectives
  • Develop relationships with our clients, engineering, and peer management teams, and effectively navigate across the organization
