JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for design and implement Security Solution for Network and Infrastructure in the Universal Beijing Theme Park & Resort. This role will be an architecture and operation combined role aligned to work closely with Information Security & Compliance team to deploy security police and strategy. S/he will be designing network security solution of Cabling, Data Center, WLAN, LAN, IoT and edge devices of IT Infrastructure system initiatives for guests, employees, and third-party partners (B2B, B2C, C2C). S/He will drive technical strategy, architecture decisions, and development; and manage technical project resources.

This is a key position on a lean team focused on opening Universal Parks & Resort’s first theme park in China and will require an individual that can work effectively & positively in a highly complex and dynamic working environment. S/he will be asked to balance a broad set of priorities and ensure progress is made on all tracks of work.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES IT System/Infrastructure Delivery: · Partner with Information Security & Compliance team, park operation team and other IT operation teams to deliver security solution · Manage the complete Network & infrastructure security solution development process including planning, design, implementation, testing, debugging and tuning, as well as iterative post-production enhancements for both “buy” or “build” solutions; Technical project/program management: · Monitoring security events, and provide status updates and optimization solution; · Maintain network security configuration for public cloud, private cloud and a hybrid environment. · Evaluate network security risk(s) and effectively create mitigation plans; · Collaborate with business users, internal and external technology teams to deliver suitable network security service that exceeds requirements ensuring compliance with enterprise standards; · Establish good working relationships with global function team, general contractor, development team, integrators and other teams from business and technology groups; · Drive and influence technology decisions regarding architecture, including data structures and algorithms; ensure information security & privacy policies are adhered to; Technology leadership: · Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable network tools; contribute technically to projects; · Develop and manage extensible, stable code bases for a variety of network system; · Provide technical subject matter and thought leadership within the area of application/infrastructure implementation weighing the pros/cons of design and technology decisions; · Evaluate various frameworks, technology and platforms to deliver world-class network security systems & infrastructure. · Architect cohesive & innovative enterprise solutions that bridge operational systems, business intelligence, mobile & advanced capabilities;

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years of solid experience of network security for multi-national companies.

• In-depth knowledge and solid experience with a wide range of security domains, such as: MLPS, Firewall Technology, DDOS, Infiltration threat, Infiltration threat, Edge Device Protection, WIFI, infrastructure security design & implementation (Communication and Network, Server, Storage, etc.), security assessment, vulnerability assessments, risk management, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Security Information & Event Management (SIEM), etc.

• Practice experience to develop the technical strategies, blueprint, improvement and optimization roadmap, design, deploy and implement the solution for Network Security

• A proven track record for thinking beyond current-state information security and technology issues, integrating technologies for complete solutions across the enterprise wide, as well as the ability to provide technology, platform, tooling assessments and recommendations, ensuring compatibility with information security strategic and technology for future

• Experience in information security policy frameworks and IT management standards (ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT, BCM, etc)

• Knowledge of information security compliance, auditing, internal controls and general security

• Good understanding of information security risk management frameworks and risk management process with ability to perform risk assessments and to advise and support mitigating actions

• Good understanding of enterprise wide Vulnerability management

• Good understating in how to integrate information security and data privacy

• Strong understanding of current technology trends, security best practices, and cyber security threats

• Practical experience and working knowledge related to a broad range of information security tools, concepts and technologies, such as:

? Endpoint protection, Security management and controls with Firewall, Router, OS – Unix, Windows, business applications, database, mobile technologies (e.g. IOS, Android), OT etc.

? Network and system Security Monitoring

? Encryption

? Network and system Vulnerability Scanning (Including: IDS/IPS) and Penetration Testing

? Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

? Log Management, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

? I&AM - Identity and Access Management

? Cloud security solutions

• Excellent troubleshooting skills in area of expertise to isolate, diagnose and implement corrective actions for problems and issues as required.

• Excellent analytical skills and reporting capabilities,

• Ability to work under tight timelines and high-pressure situations with high degree of accuracy.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Preferred

• Holder of certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, OSCP, CWSP, CCSP, GIAC, CEH, Security+, MLPS, PMP, ITIL, and/or other related certifications is advantage

• Familiar with Palo Alto security solution

• Experience on project management, vendor management including contract negotiation and service level management is a plus

• Experience in Theme Parks, Retail, or Hospitality technology solutions;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Self-motivated & accountable, with a high level of commitment to responsibility;

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with all stake holders;

• Language – Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English;

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or Engineering (or equivalent relevant work experience).

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems is highly desirable
