Position Summary:
We are currently looking to add a Security Engineer to our IT team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to advance their skill set while providing critical system administration and security functions for EyeBuyDirect’s internal users and customers.

The Security Engineer will work out of EyeBuyDirect’s Shanghai office. This position will require after-hours work which may include nights and weekends. An on-call component of the job exists which may mean the Security Engineer is required to perform maintenance or respond to issues/outages after regular business hours without advanced notification.

Responsibility:
• Build proactive security automations aimed at decreasing manual remediation work
• Maintain security processes tied to critical security and compliance controls
• Build monitoring processes for security tooling and data
• Support and maintain critical security infrastructure
• Help improve our detection capabilities through engineering projects and tooling improvements
• Perform risk analysis and provide prioritized remediation recommendations to engineering teams
Requirement:
• BS/MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, information security, or similar
• 2+ years experiences in network and /security.
• Experienced with Linux operating systems and familiar with automation tools is a plus (i.e. Salt, Chef, Ansible, etc.)
• Experience with CISCO products e.g. Meraki switches and firewalls, video collaboration products.
• Familiarity with common ports, protocols, and services
• Ability to understand and articulate security risks, as well as proposing solutions and/or mitigating controls

• Experience with windows server administration and monitoring.
• Experience with AWS and other cloud platforms/technologies.
• Knowledge about VMware esxi preferred.
• Familiarity with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001/27002, data privacy and similar security regulations and frameworks preferred
• Proficiency in English, both writing and speaking
• Attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn new skills proactively, support other team members, and work independently
• Ability to accurately prioritize and timely execute tasks in a high-paced environment
• Superior communication skills (presentation, written, and verbal) to effectively interact with all levels of professional staff. Ability to explain complex concepts simply
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, SANS or similar industry certifications preferred
