Introduction/Job Purpose
We are looking for an additional resource to support the Security Engineering function within the Information Security Organization. This role is necessary to contribute to strategy and assist cross functional teams to develop network technical controls to protect Mars information assets.
What are we looking for?
- University degree (engineering/IT/computer science) or equivalent work experience,
- Advanced University degree preferred, CISSP
- Desired: Knowledge of and passion for Information Security
- 7+ years of work experience implementing IT technologies, significant experience with security infrastructure technologies, Networking technologies, Factory/ICS platforms
- Demonstrated competency in a technical IT organization & role
- Demonstrable experience of planning, managing and delivering projects
- Demonstrable experience of working within a structured Project environment
- Demonstrable understanding of business process and change management
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Contribute to global strategic roadmaps for focus areas within security technology
- Contribute to security standards, ensure global acceptance and adherence
- Contribute to architecture and designs for global security technology
- Drive implementation of major security technologies for Mars, Incorporated
- Tier 3 support role for incidents related to deployed security technologies
- Firewall experience, Firemon experience, technical network experience
- Experiences validating and implementing security exceptions to Firewall’s
- Trusted expert on how to best use security to deploy business enabling solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
- Build positive working relationships with project leads and team members
- Coordinate critical meetings, workshops and other events as required
