Job Duties

• To support the existing network and security infrastructure of the Department
• To monitor vendors in designing the network and security infrastructure of the new office
• To provide technical advices to the management in acquiring suitable products to implement the above project
• Co-ordinate with users and other project teams for implementation of the project
• Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisors
• Need to take up on-call duty

Requirement Details:

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 6 years solid experience in networking, system, data center setup and relocation
• Strong experience in network design
• Familiarity with networking infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN remote access, IPsec, BGP and other protocols
• Hands-on experience on CISCO router & switch configuration
• Solid experience in Intrusion Prevention System
• Have knowledge of IT security policy and guidelines adopted in the Government of HKSAR
• Preference would be given to holder of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Knowledge in virtual networking, software-defined network (SDN), high bandwidth wide area network and cloud technologies preferred
• Good writing, communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese
• Good team player and leader, proactive communication with teammates
• HK Permanent Resident is required
