In this role, you have the opportunity to

Design, analyze, install, secure, configure and maintain network infrastructure, application, server and security components. You will be engaged in analysis of network related problems in the context of Radiology Informatics solutions, as well as delivery of network infrastructure

You are responsible to

  • Design, configure and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, VLAN, WLAN and VPN ensuring High Availability and Quality of Service (QoS)

  • Ensure the network perimeter is properly secured through packet filtering, content inspection, antivirus, web proxy, web application firewall etc

  • Design, configure and maintain network services such as: DHCP, DNS, NTP, Transparent Proxy, FTP, Web Servers, Mail Servers

  • Be subject matter expert in configuration of network load balancing configurations, with automatic load distribution, automatic fault detection and failover

  • Be subject matter expert in troubleshooting of network related issues, such as performance issues, loss of connectivity, instability

You are a part of

the team responsible for Release Management process and all related activities in the region, based in Genoa.

The Release Management team provide lean procedures for the introduction of software release, patches and configurations exceeding customer’s expectations, minimizing risks, optimizing resources for deployment and maintenance activities.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University Degree/Master Degree or equivalent in Networking, Computer Science, Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Excellent knowledge of: ISO-OSI Model, TCP/IP, L3/L2 Routing, L4 Routing, NAT

  • Excellent knowledge of VPN technologies, including L2L tunnels and RA with IPSec, TLS and other encryptions

  • Good knowledge of: Cisco Appliances (IOS), F5 Appliances

  • Cisco CCNA certified as a plus

  • Good knowledge of: Linux OS, Bash scripting, Tomcat/Apache web servers, Postfix

  • Good knowledge of: Microsoft Windows server OS (2012-2019) and Active Directory

  • Basic knowledge of: SQL database such as MySQL, SQL Server Oracle
