How you’ll play your part
 
Working within the Mercedes-Benz Vans Network Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of van network planning and network representation, ensuring alignment with van brand aspirations and products. You will be required to create and validate the sales and after sales network plan(s) and establish that they meet the requirements of all van brand, BER, compliance and quality standards.

As a high analytical individual, you will establish and maintain satisfactory network coverage to maximise retailer volume potential in sales and aftersales, providing solutions to achieve a balance between optimum requirement, quality and economic reality. This will include producing detailed capacity plans to allow the dealer network to meet the requirements of the van brand moving forwards.
 
You’ll also:

- Conduct competitor analysis and reviews on network performance and the impact of changing buyer behaviour by producing market coverage calculations, demographic profiling and change proposals
- Lead on network change implementation to support the Network Development Manager with appointments, terminations, fleet workshops and authorised repairers whilst managing the relationship with the Mercedes-Benz UK Legal Department
- Manage all contract change packages for the van dealer network maintaining compliance with contractual, ethical and compliance standards

About you
 
With a background in the Automotive industry, you will be educated to degree level, or similar, with strong commercial awareness and knowledge of BER, competition law, franchise legislation, franchising operations and compliance. It is expected that you will confident working independently, be able to multi-task and perform at a high level when operating under pressure, particularly when dealing with senior stakeholders. You will show an aptitude for detail and accuracy and be able to operate Microsoft Office Programmes at an advanced level. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships and network are also essential in this role.
