Position Description: We are looking for a test Engineer with a solid background in datacenter networking for a leadership position in Lenovo’s Product Assurance team. The Role will require experience with various networking technologies across a range of server options, switches and operating systems.  The candidate will be responsible for creating test cases and test plan to ensure the compatibility, functionality, validation of new features of these devices with Lenovo ThinkSystem servers.  The applicant will work closely with both the development and PA teams in order to lead these efforts. In order to accomplish these goals, the applicant must have a strong background in networking technologies and protocols such as Ethernet (IP4, IP6, routing, DHCP, DNS, VLans, etc) InfiniBand, virtualization (SRIOV, NVGRE, etc.), remote storage protocols (FCoE, iSCSI), as well as network topology, switch configuration and the ability to perform protocol level tracing. The applicant must also be able to apply knowledge to develop test plans, test cases, and test processes to ensure a quality product release and efficiency.
