Job Description

The successful candidate will participate in the EPCoT (Equipment Planning Coordination Team) schedule and project reviews and develop and produce indicators to support those reviews. The successful candidate is responsible to define and produce tools, reports, and indicators for project teams and the overall project to manage the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple project schedules at once. Individual must have some demonstrated leadership skills to manage and lead the schedule team. Individual will be an interface with other Intel organizations including base-build, layout dependent scope, tool install and process engineering.

The successful candidate must effectively communicate the schedule status and outputs throughout the organization via business processes. As Intel's business model and the SOP changes, the successful individual must be able to manage the changes and modifications to the schedule system in conjunction with the schedule team.


The individual must have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Proficient with Primavera Scheduling Software.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills to analyze schedule and present the results to the project team

  • Scheduling knowledge and ability to be technical advisor with respect to critical path, predecessors/successors, activity definition, activity sequencing, and logic.

  • Knowledge of Project management techniques and controls.

  • Demonstrated ability in driving the organization to use the data to drive risk identification, quantification, response, and control with respect to the master schedule.

  • Scheduler must understand project management requirements around decommission/decontamination/demolition, install, relo and conversion processes.

  • Strong analytical skills to be able to identify few, key, and critical issues or rocks.

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service orientation. Ability to creatively communicate the schedule to a wide range of customers.

  • Knowledge of Web use, shared drive methodology.

  • Understand the project triangle and change control to the schedules. The project triangle is the model that Intel utilizes to ensure the scope, schedule, and budgets are aligned.

  • Position requires individual to be a motivated self-starter that can work independently with minimal direction and meet expectations daily. They will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple customers and stakeholders.

This position is an Intel Contract Employee (ICE). This position is not open for Intel immigration sponsorship.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience scheduling or project management using Primavera in a medium sized construction environment.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.

  • Other software skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft project are preferred.
