The Production Engineer role is tasked with benchmarking, developing, implementing, and continuously improving operational standards and business processes and systems to enable consistent high velocity, high volume output of a semiconductor manufacturing factory. Integrates, tests, configures, and/or supports automated Factory manufacturing systems/tools. Coordinates factory requirements, maps them to automation/ manufacturing systems capabilities, and recommends technical solutions. Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation/ manufacturing system problems. Drives continuous improvement efforts to expand/optimize systems use, as well as bringing forward new, emerging capabilities and improved visual info tools. Serves as site expert for a designated set of automation/ manufacturing systems, acting as an integrator/facilitator of cross-functional and cross-site (VF, Virtual Factory) teams (partners with Manufacturing /ROC Engineer, Automation/MIT/AMHS, Planning, IE, Production, Process Engineering, Integration/Yield). Lead manufacturing readiness (getting these systems/tools in place) for new technologies and adapting to ongoing technology changes. Higher grade level Prod Engineers will influence the design of new systems/capabilities. Examples of auto/ manufacturing systems: - ASOM, AMPX/PX2, NG22, N2 purge, L8, dispatches, drumbeat/dynamic priority, segment graphs, HOBITs, Ue, AutoSIF, Fuzion, LPS, Redwing, CT goaling, flow audits, simulations, OAK checklists, OS, TRG/GFC, and XETA/YETA. CSIs/KRs: Cycle Time (aligned technology/modules), manufacturing/readiness PAS, CQT percent, L8 percent, info systems accuracy and usability, proliferation/adoption percent of auto/manufacturing systems. The COS and ROC Manufacture/GLs are key customers for the Production Engineer - strong, effective partnerships are critical here. The Production Engineer will be the site owner for certain operational business systems/capabilities - to be balanced across the team. Scope will be aligned to the Foveros Technology.
