In this position you will be part of the New Product introduction team in Costa Rica. The scope includes:
Owning projects that are directly tied to the development and implementation of new technologies, processes and products in the factory.
Providing leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project or program as an integration role.
Owning Factory planned and Start up activities for systems and documentation readiness (process flow, product build routing, BOM, etc.
Integrating and Coordinating Matching and Factory Cert activities.
Ensuring materials and system readiness.
Owning technical leadership on x-functional dependencies e.g. interaction issues, and own integrated FMEA.
Leading development and factory cert key learning mapping and risk mitigation and solution.
Engineering Builds plan owner and co-own line capacity to execute the readiness. Chair Daily Huddle/GYATT - lead to resolve priority conflict and execution roadblock.
Schedule NPI program readiness review meeting to ensure completion of Quality management System.
Identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule.
Monitor progress against schedule.
Coordinate resources with other functions.
Review user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Electro-Mechanic, Chemical, Materials Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience working with engineering fundamentals, and development and transfer methodology.
At least 3 years of proven record of project management experience.
Intermediate to Advanced English Level
Unrestricted Costa Rican work permit
