What will you do?

We are looking for a talented individual who is inspired to be groom as project management professional.

The successful candidate will help drive project success in our various instrument buildups by following responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivery success of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Transfer in manufacturing operations through maintain ownership of project scope, schedule, resource and budget.
  • Assume role of Operations lead in NPI. Drive Operations Team (Engineering, Manufacturing, QA and Supply Chain) to plan and execute activities in transition from development to mass production. As point interface with PMO, R&D and Business to Operations in core team.
  • Assume role of Catch lead in Product Transfer. Drive Catch Team to plan and execute transfer activities to start production. As point interface with Pitch Team and Business in project team.
  • Participate in Project Core Team meetings or Extended Team meeting to drive action to solutions.
  • Organize project meeting and compile project status report to achieve project scope, schedule, resource and budget.
  • Drive operational readiness to support development builds, trial manufacturing build and initial mass production. Conduct reviews and compile reports.
  • Participate in new process development, optimize existing process and implement technical breakthrough activities through Lean / Six Sigma methodology to reduce manufacturing costs and/or enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Work with PMO and R&D to develop initial product cost estimate and monitor cost through the development phase against cost targets. Participate in cost reductions where possible.
  • Drive / Embrace Design for Manufacturability (DFM) on new products with R&D and Operations to improve overall first pass yield at product launches.
  • Maintain and ensure systems and procedures are compliance to the Organization’s Quality standards and Regulatory requirements.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Tertiary education or bachelor’s in engineering related fields

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in leading medium to large scale projects in any discipline within manufacturing operations
  • 1 to 2 years hands-on experience and knowledge in lean manufacturing, supply chain, quality standards/regulatory requirements will be added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong in Project Management with proven track record. PMP Certification will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to lead and drive meeting/discussion, communicate issues and resolve conflicts within cross functional teams,
  • Knowledge and hands-on in Project Management software/tools, ERP System (i.e SAP) and ISO standards
  • Good planning and organize skill.
