We are now looking for a talented Business Development professional to be part of our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding latest technologies and startups relevant to real estate, focusing mainly on Mainland China
• Representing Swire Properties to network with relevant VC funds and startups in Mainland China
• Sourcing, conducting due diligence, closing and conducting post-deal portfolio management of venture deals
• Continuously monitoring and updating the management team on venture portfolio
• Helping to operate UrbanLab, China’s first proptech accelerator, along with VC partners
• Understanding how technologies can apply to or impact Swire Properties’ existing businesses
• Helping introduce and implement technologies to Swire Properties’ colleagues
• Sharing insights with senior management team

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be:

• University graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related disciplines
• 5 – 8 years of experience in venture capital, venture-funded startups or in the tech ecosystem or equivalent
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Business Development Manager
• Strong business acumen
• Strong interest or experience in technology and technology investments
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is a must. Fluency in Cantonese is a plus
• Strong understanding of Swire Properties’ business in Mainland China (preferred)
• Self-driven, collaborative, good presenter
• Based in Hong Kong, with frequent travel to Mainland China or Based in Beijing, with frequent travel to other Cities in Mainland China and Hong Kong
