NIGHT MANAGER

Rich history meets modern elegance in the heart of Sydney at The Porter House Hotel Sydney – MGallery. This redevelopment of the iconic 1876 five-storey masterpiece is looking for a Night Manager.

As our next Night Manager you will:

• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation, maintaining guest satisfaction and the safety and security of the property.
• Undertake the daily reconciliation of the Hotel’s trading, including the checking and preparation of reports, completing audits and collating the necessary paperwork for departures
• Carrying out reception duties and leading by example and providing five star service.
• Ensuring effective communication and hand-over regarding policies, rates and general hotel information.
• Available to work from 11pm - 7am five days a week.

 

Skills & Experience

• Experience working in a hotel environment 
• Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Opera
• Initiates contact and establishes rapport easily.
• Willing to take ownership and have initiative to carry out different tasks required.
• Knows how to have fun in the workplace!
