Job Title: Night Porter
Department: Guest Experience
Inspired & Supported by: Guest Experience Manager & Guest Experience and Communications Manager
Your purpose will be:
To represent the hotel as a charismatic Savoy ambassador overnight and delighting our guests with exceptional service. To work closely alongside the Night Manager to assist with all guest requests overnight

You will be accountable for:
- Engaging enthusiastically in guest interactions, demonstrating knowledge and personality
- Procuring, sourcing, collecting and delivering all guest requests with energy and enthusiasm
- Ensuring security of the hotel overnight
|
Your key responsibilities & contribution will be:
- Assist with all guest requests in a timely manner
- Support guest arrivals and departure including handling guest luggage securely
- Have full knowledge of all hotel services and the local area
- Maintain front hall coverage and keeping area tidy and clean
- Be aware of where to locate items for all guest requests and ensure the relevant areas are kept well stocked
- Walk the floors to collect breakfast orders and collect & polish guest shoes
- Deliver messages and packages to guest rooms
- Assist other departments when needed e.g. in room dining
- Hand over all information clearly to Night Manager and day team
- Assist the Night Manager in case of an emergency or crisis

What you will need to do this role:
Essential:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly organised and able to work independently and use initiative
- Enthusiastic and positive personality
- Strong communication skills

Desirable:
- Experience in a luxury hospitality environment
|
