Nonconforming Materials Coordinator

You are responsible for

  • The process of non-conforming material dispositions, which includes the generation, disposition and completion of Quality Notifications. This also includes generating, updating, and/or reviewing work instructions while maintaining compliance to all regulatory requirements.

  • Supporting the Manufacturing Quality Assurance team including the Quality Manager, Engineers, Supervisor, and Releasers.

  • Performing investigations of defective material and determine the scope of the affected product(s). Coordinate with suppliers/ buyers on defective RMA.

  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the process, identifying and implementing process improvements.

  • Understanding and implementing change notices including how the change may impact material on Quality Notifications.

  • Equipment record updates with lot tracking information.

  • Effectively communicating with all levels of associates within the organization, including engineering, supplier quality, regulatory, purchasing, and quality assurance.

  • Providing guidance and focus to team members and to generate results through others.

  • Understanding and/or learn how internal systems affect one another.

  • Performing functions of reworks as needed.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing or related environment required.

  • Individual must demonstrate experience in a manufacturing related field. Demonstrated proficiency in computer software knowledge (Word, Excel, or related systems) required.

  • A strong understanding of SAP; Materials Management Module, Quality Module and Product Data Management Module, is preferred.

  • Detailed knowledge of all products within designated business segments built in manufacturing.
