Job Summary

The team lead has overall responsibility for overseeing the work of NA Field HR support team to ensure successful achievement of business goals and implement personnel administration processes. This position is expected to support but not limited to career counselor assignment, employee data change, Corporate function position maintenance, performance achievement process, recruiting and onboarding related tasks etc. for North America employees.

  • Managing the team to achieve volumes, standards and targets within service level agreements through and with the team
  • Providing a center of excellence, delivering a professional, high quality, cost effective service to the client, in accordance with agreed business and customer requirements
  • Ensuring that the team are familiar with resource planning and management procedures of all supported countries
  • Putting in place and implementing an ongoing review of current practices in order to enhance the service that HRSS provides for customers

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for team operations, including day to day supervision of service delivery and ensure the team performance meet targets;
  • Talents development, including team capability management, performance coaching
  • Monitor team and individual performance to ensure KPI, SLA and Operational Metrics are met
  • Collaborating with BA Core HR team and on-shore liaison to proactively address process issues and enhance process
  • Working with multiple stakeholders/internal clients to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of system update and reporting
  • Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Team through empowering individuals to provide maximum benefit to all customers
  • Ensure team process and daily process can meet compliance requirement and conduct regular audit to meet the Internal Control requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: Undergraduate degree, preferably in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR and project management

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications as well as HRIS
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills & organizational skills
  • Flexibility and teaming skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated willingness to work in flat team structure and develop a range of HR competences
  • Strong customer focus
  • Understanding of general HR policies, procedures and current best practice
  • Demonstrated ability to set and meet objectives
  • Strong project management skills including planning, execution and follow through
  • Ability to deliver high impact amid complexity, ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Strong supervisory and employee development skills
  • Ability to operate with a large degree of autonomy and independence
