Eaton’s Commercial and Residential Division is currently seeking a Northeast Territory Manager to join our team. This role covers the states of MD, NY, VA, PA, MA, and ME. This position can be based remotely in the following areas: New York metro, New Jersey metro or Eastern Pennsylvania. Position Overview: The position is responsible for growing sales within the assigned territory accounts specifically Home Depot and Lowe's through the design and implementation of field programs, chain specific strategies at the territory level and daily interaction with the customer in the field. Major responsibilities include analysis of customer specific sales reports, managing pricing integrity for the Home Depot & Lowes accounts, communication and assistance of customer service requirements, strong field presence with solid interpersonal working relationships, willingness to solve problems and invent new opportunities for growth. The Retail Territory Sales Specialist will also be responsible for evaluating the customers product selections and making the necessary adjustments based on market research, local code requirements and customer preference. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Two (2) years of sales experience Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future No relocation is being offered for this role. Qualified candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of the New York metro area, New Jersey metro area, or Eastern Pennsylvania. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred qualifications: Two (2) years of experience in the electrical industry Four (4) years of sales experience in retail manufacturing industry Position Criteria: Ability to present data effectively to support recommendations regarding production plan/master schedule Experience with Microsoft Office A good understanding of the manufacturing processes Basic understanding of production routings, product costing, order entry, and typical supply chain functions. Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and tool sets as they relate to production scheduling and materials management. Why work at Eaton?
