Student Age Group: Under 3 years old (Nursery class, approximately 8 children per class)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced female foreign teacher to join our nursery team. The ideal candidate should have experience working with very young children or possess a background in early childhood education. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating English-language environment for our youngest learners.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities for children under 3 years old.
Work closely with two other lead teachers (one Chinese bilingual teacher and one foreign teacher) and one teaching assistant in a “3-teachers-1-assistant” model.
Participate in daily routines, including mealtimes, naps, and play-based learning.
Collaborate with Chinese co-teachers (who are also proficient in English) to ensure a cohesive bilingual learning experience.
Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions (conducted fully in English), and school events.
Participate in monthly Open Days (held on the first Saturday morning of each month) with compensation provided as half-day leave or RMB 600 overtime pay.
Teach optional after-school classes (with additional hourly pay) based on mutual agreement.
Support summer and winter holiday programs (approximately 2 weeks in summer, 1 week in winter) with additional holiday pay calculated based on actual working days.
Requirements:
Female native English speaker from the UK, USA, or South Africa.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field preferred.
Experience working with children under 3 years old in a nursery, daycare, or early learning setting.
TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is a plus.
Patient, caring, creative, and adaptable to young children’s needs.
Willing to follow the local academic calendar and work during scheduled holiday programs.
Compensation & Benefits:
Monthly Salary: RMB 22,000 – RMB30,000
Working Hours: 7:50 AM – 5:00 PM (including 1 hour of lesson planning between 4–5 PM)
After-school class rate: RMB 400/hour (optional, arranged based on interest)
Summer/Winter Holiday Program Pay: Additional RMB 10,000 (prorated based on actual program length)
Monthly Open Day: Half-day leave or RMB 600 overtime allowance
Visa: Residence permit application fees covered (flight tickets not included)
Meals: Three meals provided daily (mainly Chinese cuisine)
Stable school environment backed by a diversified group with long-term operations
School Environment:
Small class sizes: Nursery (under 3) with ~8 children; K1 with 16 children; other classes with up to 20 children.
7 foreign teachers in total across the kindergarten.
Structured bilingual teaching model with English as the primary language of instruction and communication.
School follows the local education bureau calendar—no make-up classes during Mid-Autumn or National Day holidays; semester-end make-up sessions may apply.
