Alliance Partner Marketing Manager working closely with Nutanix.

Lenovo Data Center Group (DCG) World Wide (WW) Partner Marketing is looking
for a self-starter with experience in building Go-to-Market (GTM) marketing
plans with alliance partners.  This role is dedicated to driving joint
marketing plans with Nutanix.  Nutanix is an industry leader in hyperconverged
solutions.   The joint GTM marketing plan defines the strategic and tactical
plan for the use of Nutanix partner development funds.  This funding enables
global and geography marketing execution to drive awareness and demand for
Lenovo + Nutanix offerings & solutions.
This role also draws from your experience in developing content for B2B multi-
channel demand generation campaigns and leading engagements with external
agencies. This role has the unique privilege of collaborating with a strategic
alliance partner, cross functional teams, agency partners, and Geography
marketing.  You will drive the content development to support the GTM
marketing plan.  You will collaborate with Nutanix and solution/segment
marketing teams to define the strategic objectives, content plan, KPIs and
deliver Geography marketing execution guidance.
The right person has poise and confidence in working with third party
stakeholders. Key to success in this global role is an ability to consistently
engage with teams across the DCG marketing & communications function on behalf
the Lenovo+ Nutanix GTM marketing plan.

What You Will Be Doing
• Develop global Lenovo + Nutanix GTM marketing plans through the Lenovo WW
Partner Marketing Governance model.
• Define the strategic objective and tactical priorities for the marketing
execution of partner development funds
• Build and interlock the semi-annual marketing plans for Geo execution
guidance
• Define and lead the supporting content plan aligned to the GTM plan
• Ensure partner development funded GTM marketing plans intersect shared
Nutanix and DCG marketing, communications & sales learning priorities
• Provide planning calendar of key Nutanix announcements for Lenovo
amplification support to WW DCG comms teams (PR, Social, Executive quotes)
• Assist with delivery of required inputs / outputs to both Lenovo & Nutanix
teams
• Assist with marketing launch interlocks between Lenovo & Nutanix for Lenovo
products/solutions which feature Nutanix offerings (to include reviews of
joint collateral; field sales enablement updates; overview of overall GTM
marketing plan)
• Work with Nutanix, external agency partners, alliance and solution marketing
/ product segment teams to help define the messaging and offering focus for
contend funded via partner development funds
• Lead the project management of Lenovo + Nutanix content creation to support
WW DG plays
• Partner with stakeholders to define content focus and messages (Geo DCG
marketing;  Nutanix, Lenovo segment & solutions teams).
• Intel for input (when applicable for a three way – Lenovo / Nutanix / Intel
play focus;  VDI-Remote Learning as pilot)
o Intel DCF process management for WW asset development (pre-approval and
compliance of content for Geo execution when a three way play has been
developed)
 Secure final approval of assets with both Lenovo and Intel (when applicable)
• Manage inputs and required pre-approvals into Nutanix partner portals prior
to content creation
• Manage agency partners identified to support the agreed upon content plan
• Production schedules and on-time delivery
• On budget delivery of content assets
• Oversee QA to ensure all content assets in support of the demand gen play
are accurate prior to release to geography marketing teams (this includes any
alliance partner pre-approval for compliance requirements).
• Manage the POE requirements for Lenovo reimbursement of WW content
development
• Publish assets to Lenovo AEM for Geo execution and communicate release of
assets
• Manage the marketing dashboard management
o Utilize data from Nutanix Partner Development fund tool to track funding
utilization
o Monitor funding utilization & assist with recommendations when under-
spending / under-performance occurs
o Responsible for Lenovo inputs into the dashboard (DG play pipeline
reporting; status updates on agreed upon focus areas)
o Solicit feedback on Geo utilization of WW developed assets
• Manage the monthly CMO Marketing Business Review (MBR) agenda

#### Position Requirements:


• 5-7 years’ experience in B2B marketing experience, tech industry preferred
• Self-motivated, can work independently and proactively to resolve issues,
take ownership for processes
• Understanding of a broad range of marketing activities, disciplines, and
tactics
• Top notch project management skills. Experience in managing agency partners
to deliver on time and within funded scope of work agreements
• Experience working with alliance partners is a plus
• Familiarity with standard marketing performance metrics is preferred
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
• Detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Team player mentality and positive, “can do” attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
