Responsibilities:
? Provide family centered adequate nursing care to OB/GYN patients.
? Provide adequate education to OB/GYN patients and their family members.
? In charge of patient independently after approved by department head nurses, with higher level nurses are a reachable if needed.
? Carry out various nursing interventions, assigned treatment and diagnosis to patients with the supervision of a senior nursing staff and/or head nurse.
? Administers medications with supervision of higher level nurses.
? Maintains accurate and complex records of nursing observations and care.
? Cooperate with own staff, physicians and other department’s staff.
? Escort’s patients to and from various locations within or outside BJU.
? Able to accomplish Level I nurse’s responsibilities.
? Other duties assigned by the department and higher level staff.
? Attend nursing training class.
? Improve nursing clinical skills to meet BJU standard.
? Professionalism and positive work attitude.

Delivery preparation
Newborn sponge bath
Breast Milk Collection & Storage
Perineum care
Newborn care (Initial & routine), attend c/s in low risk patients under supervise.
Supportive Breastfeeding
The 4th stage of labor care
Postpartum care (Vaginal delivery & C/S)
Hypoglycemia care
Newborn vaccination (Training needed per Health Bureau requirement)
Hyperbilirubinemia care (phototherapy)
Newborn blood screening test (Training needed per Health Bureau requirement)
Hearing screening test (Training needed per Health Bureau requirement)
Obstetric Patient education
Postpartum RhoGAM injection
Assist epidural procedure

Qualifications:
? Licensing Needed - Registered nurse in China
? Minimal Education Requirement- Associate Nursing Degree
? Minimal Experience Requirement – 2-5 years working experience in nursing
? Complete department orientation and competency evaluation according to policy
? BLS, ACLS, NRP certification according to policy
Skills:
? Efficient OB/GYN clinical nursing skills
? Medium communication skills in English and Chinese
Knowledge:
? Understand hospital policies
? Understand department policies
? Efficient nursing knowledge in general
? Efficient knowledge of OB/GYN nursing expertise
