Expert for AIoT platform, smart building and smart campus system solution.
Defines together with #11—R&D Principal Engineer Cloud Computing the software architecture for interaction of frontend (todays devices and products) and backend (cloud).
Defines together with #22—R&D Principal Engineer 3rd party SW & AI integration the API/SDK for 3rd party integration.
Defines system requirement and specification based on product and market requirement.

Your responsibilities

• Leading AIoT cloud/edge/device solution designing, defining system requirement and specification based on product and market requirement.
• Analyzing the 3rd party IoT device integration requirements,researching on the 3rd party platform and software, designing the system solution and key technical points.
• Serving as a subject matter expert to the project, providing guidance to colleagues and more junior team members, acting as a mentor and sharing lessons learned.
• Having overview of IP in own specialist area and developing project IP strategies, identifying and managing risks in research and development projects as well as in own organization.
• Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in computer engineering or related field.
• 10 years+ system engineering experience, rich experience for state-of-the-art of cloud and AIoT architectures and technologies required.
• Should be an expert for AIoT platform, smart building, smart campus solution, familiar with access control and door entry system is a plus.
• Rich experience of virtualization technology, cloud computing, distributed system framework, docker and rich experience of database design and development required.
• Excellent communication and coordination required in Chinese and English language (Chinese language as mother tongue required).
