We currently have 73 stores on 22 markets and offer online selling on 32 markets through Stories.com and external partners. And we are growing!

Job Description

Your goal is to increase the omni selling and profitability of the total brand, by optimizing each channel and finding synergies between the sales channels always having the customer in focus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Goals

Setting financial (P&L) and commercial omni goals together with your omni sales team for the market and making sure that everyone is aligned in working towards these goals. (co-lab with global retail & online)

Combined with your own actions you steer the team and act on deviations.

Budget and planning 

Set the overall strategic and operational KPI´s for the market together with sales manager and with support from global functions. Align and handshake with global before budget entering and keep a continuous dialogue to secure realistic forecast targets. Always have a P&L focus and optimizing omni and each channel.

Monthly and quarterly follow ups with global of selling and costs (P&L). Collaborating and support all various functions within the brand including marketing in order to optimize profitability.

After each financial quarter a forecast update in FDW is needed after alignment with omni sales manager and global to secure a realistic P&L for the rest of the year.

For retail:

  • Set and follow-up sales and salaries together with the store teams and guide them in short- and long-term sales and staff planning.

For online:

  • Follow up returns as a big impact in P&L and work close with logistics to understand impact on P&L and customer promise. Secure selling forecast updates to logistics regularly to secure daily operations.

Work closely with the global functions.

Sales results and follow-up

Provide weekly sales analysis for the omni team to act on and seasonal follow up for the planning of coming seasons. Share analysis and actions with global on a weekly level.

Continuous sales analysis on both KPI level as well as assortment levels, that result in actions to increase selling and profitability.

Define and prioritize biggest opportunities and threats based on biggest impact on selling and secure we are reaching our plan by effective actions.

Update forecast together with sales manager and have a dialogue with global when changes are made.

Identify need for ad-hoc analysis, conduct the analysis and take actions in order to drive selling, solve stock or improve methods. Identify and drive business cases to drive future topline and bottom-line effect and connect to global team. (Constant improvement & tight teamwork with Global)

You have a customer centric mindset and take actions and perform analysis with a connection to the commercial calendar.

 

Allocation and operations

Act as a partner to support merchandising with OMNI stock management and optimization and moves between channels to optimize selling.

Delivery options impacting online and store delivery schedule optimization.

Secure and follow-up store operations & delivery

DC & Customer Service collaboration to secure operations. Monthly meetings needed.

  • Work closely with Head of merchandisers/sales managers and global business controllers.
  • Coaches and support the omni sales team and store teams with controlling.
  • Responsible for developing new tools and working methods as well as improving existing tools to continuously improve the controlling and merchandising function.
  • Identify future talents to secure competence and next-me.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within related industry
  • Genuine passion on and understanding of fashion and figures.
  • An analytical, strategic, sales driven and communicative person who lives on & Other stories’ values
  • A good communicator and organizer with the ability to interface regularly with personal at all levels
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously, and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Computer literate, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft package
