The Operations Manager for Black Sheep Restaurants is responsible for working with the Operations Director and owners, in all aspects of restaurant operations. This includes the development of new restaurant concepts and working closely with office leads to be the link between the Base Station and Restaurants. He/she will oversee the General Managers, who take care of the restaurants, to support and project manage plans to push forward and increase business, creating service manuals, menu costing, financial management, maintenance and repairs, sourcing materials, among other tasks. The position requires extensive corporate level industry experience with an entrepreneurial mindset and impeccable organizational skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years’ Experience in hospitality with experience running multiple sites
- Clear growth in career – full understanding of the hospitality industry and roles in which the candidate will be managing
- Extensive Restaurant management & customer service/guest relations experience
- Ability to execute marketing strategies and campaigns
- Experience in liaising and negotiating with suppliers
- Ability to create and implement SOP’s
- Experience in Budget and Financial Management
- Experience opening restaurants
- Ability to recruit, train and develop team members
- Experience reporting to directors and owners
- Excellent English language skills (written & oral)
- A keen understanding and passion for the restaurant industry
- Experience of managing multiple senior Managers and large teams
- Hold a degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management or similar relevant degree
