Eaton is currently seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to join our team! This position is based at our Burlington, ON facility. To improve organizational effectiveness through the coordination and deployment of the Eaton Business System to ensure the business meets growth, productivity, and quality objectives. Specific responsibilities will be improving the productivity of the front end of the Canadian business with a focus on developing tools for data intelligence through the application of Eaton Lean System and Continuous Improvement Framework. In this function you will: You will lead national projects using PROLaunch and utilize lean tools to drive cost out of the front end of the Canadian business. You will serve as a role model in the areas of leadership, teamwork, customer focus, continuous improvement, safety, and environmental stewardship to ensure alignment with Eaton leadership system. You will identify and eliminate process variations resulting in external and internal failures through 8-D corrective action, Six Sigma, and other Quality Management System tools and processes. You will identify and drive process improvements for business intelligence and analytics by leveraging Eaton’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, and IT solutions You will provide analysis through data collection and mining of metrics for key business drivers and reinforce knowledge of them throughout the front end of the Canadian business. You will lead efforts in creating, testing, and distributing business intelligence solutions (metrics, dashboards, and trend analysis) that enables data-based decisions You will liaise across operations and business units to ensure a systematic process is in place for full order cycle that maximizes customer experience. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: University Degree or College Diploma, in technical field. Minimum 5 years prior experience in manufacturing or engineering. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
