In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

• Designs, develops, maintains, tests, debugs, optimizes, secures, and/or evaluates OS Kernel and system software, including device drivers, virtualization, hypervisor, and/or other software technologies both open source and proprietary
• Utilizes knowledge in software architecture, design, debug, development, operating system internals, and silicon on platform features

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's in Computer Science with 10+ years experience in:

• Open source projects specifically related to Linux kernel
• Operating Systems internals like threading, inter process communication and process life cycle
• C programming language

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of x86 assembly language
• Experience in pre-silicon simulation platforms such as simics

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$187,370.00-$299,710.00
