Job Description

CallisonRTKL seeks a dynamic Occupancy Planner to work directly with our client through onsite services. This position is passionate about occupancy/space planning, will have full time dedication to the client, and is an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities

  • Knows and understands client Real Estate specific work processes and roles and responsibilities
  • Conducts management level interviews
  • Makes management level presentations that achieve desired outcomes and client confidence
  • Supports client regional Real Estate (RE) teams, including Property Portfolio team, with regional portfolio planning
  • Creates and develops test fits, planning recommendations and option analysis and evaluation, pro/con comparison
  • Makes recommendations for client demonstrating ability to collect information from various sources and translate it into a comprehensive real estate plans with some guidance from client Design Services Manager
  • Ensures planning deliverables provided meet client Workplace Guidelines, Standards and Key Performance Indicators and expectations
  • Drives the collection of workplace data through the implementation of workplace investigations for client RE market or sub market
  • Works with client Design Services Manager and Workplace Development Manager to understand data implications
  • Supports client in defining and managing consistent and accurate workplace data analysis including, but not limited to workplace investigations, workplace occupancy data, mobility profiles, surveys, interior planning, space efficiency, workflow analysis, satisfaction metrics and benchmarking
  • Reports analysis results to client RE to support decision making and development of workplace design strategy and policies
  • Ensures lessons learned / general feed-back is captured in projects
  • Feeds the information back to Global Workplace Strategy and Design team as well as Regional RE teams to enable continuous improvement

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Real Estate, Interior Design or Planning
  • 5+ years of space/occupancy planning experience
  • Knowledge in facility management, interior design or architecture preferred
  • Performance will be measured based on KPI’s
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly, both verbally and graphically
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills with all levels
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit preferred
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills preferred
  • LEED accreditation preferred
