Set longer term priorities across teams and balance resources to optimise outcomes and achieve the business plan.
Set detailed work plans and distribute workload within broader plans.
Ensure the resources (people, systems) and assets required to achieve the plans are available and perform as needed
Schedule known activities with existing guidelines and operating plans and strategies.
Ensure Ocean operations functions effective and team members are trained and developed.
Improve business and operating processes, work flows, connections and activities across the operational area.
Provide direct leadership to effectively deploy innovative practices and technologies across the teams.
Influence team members’ behaviours, attitudes and points of view to achieve the highest standards of operational excellence and sustainability in safety and environmental performance.
Ensure established work systems are in place and people are able to work effectively as individuals and as a team to achieve the standards and results required.
Ensure audits of operational performance are effectively resourced and completed across teams and results are followed up.
Solve the more significant problems of Ocean Operation to improve overall results and standards, tackle daily operation problems and complaints.
Accountable for leadership across teams in driving positive change towards a safer and more productive workplace.
Factor in the broader impact on customers (internal or external), suppliers and others when making significant decisions.
Target and develop a collaborative, customer first culture by managing group behaviours and helping individuals to modify their own behaviours. Lead Operation team to put the customer first and enhance collaboration with sales department.
Keep good relationship and close communication with carriers for better space support and monitor space usage to maximize our profit
Manage suppliers to reduce operation cost on trucking and warehousing, evaluate subcontractors’ service and quotation to minimize handling cost.
Gather all possible solution and value-added service locally to offer diverse service to the customers
Strive for more support from IT, Accounting, Procurement team, Global Ocean, BPO to improve work efficiency, productivity and performance at Shenzhen.
Work closely with GSC and Global Solution team to serve VIP accounts, launch the service of new clients locally, review & implement SOP with OP teams and maintain the relationship with key customers.
Manage suppliers to reduce operation cost on trucking and warehousing, evaluate subcontractors’ service and quotation to minimize handling cost.
Gather all possible solution and value-added service locally to offer diverse service to the customers and sales team
Sign HBL and payment application, check GP monthly.
Add organization in CW1, reverse invoice/ payment wrongly issued.
Implement global project about Ocean product at Shenzhen, such as COE.

At least 5 years relevant working experience in Ocean Freight with at least 3 years in Supervisory level
Self-initiative and motivate
Strong sense of responsibility and compressive ability
Good command of English
