The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for but not limited to:
Perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment, process and training
Equipment maintenance and repair, equipment troubleshooting, defect reduction, and other duties as required supporting Fab objectives
Work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, written and verbal instructions utilizing a variety of tools, test equipment, problem solving techniques and communication
All Shifts 4, 5, 6 or 7 Compressed Work Week Schedule in Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (Fab42/32/12) are available
12 hour days from 6-6 (AM-PM – PM-AM)
Shift 4: (nights frontend) PM-AM Sun-Tues and alternating Saturday nights
Shift 5: (days frontend) AM-PM Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday days
Shift 6: (nights backend) PM-AM Wed-Sat and alternating Saturday night
Shift 7: (days backend) AM-PM Thurs-Sat and alternating Wednesday days

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must have an AAS Degree or certification in a STEM related field or;
Minimum 3+ months of semiconductor manufacturing experience or Military relevant experience
Must be willing to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kgs) at least 4 times a day
This position requires standing, walking, bending, and reaching during entire shift
Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves
Willing to wear a respirator *Dry Etch/Diffusion/EPI
This position is not open for Intel immigration sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic knowledge on any of the following areas: electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair and operations
Experience performing hands-on, auto repair, welding, soldering, robotics, crafting, automotive
Experience with schematics and drawings/diagrams and Integrated circuit fabrication
Experience performing hands-on preventative, corrective maintenance on 300mm equipment in any area
Demonstrated skills to influence the content and creation of new specs, procedures and business processes related to equipment maintenance
Knowledge of process control systems
Experience with schematics and complex drawings/diagrams
Integrated circuit fabrication experience
