This exciting role offers opportunity to: Play active role in SEZ Compliance – Filing of DTA Services and material procurement Ensuring correctness of GST Input Tax & Output Tax | Reconciling GST Input / Output GL Vs Returns Ensure timely bonding of imported materials Filing of monthly and annual reports on GST portal Ensure compliance such as MPR (Monthly performance report), APR, (Annual performance report) RCMC renewal, IEC updation, BLUT ledger utilization, under SEZ law Checking of GST Compliances by vendors Handling SEZ related compliances relating to GST Provide support in claim of Export -Rebate Ensure correct tax applications on scrap invoices and proper accounting of TCS Ensure timely endorsement of all invoices by Assessing officer Submission of endorsed invoices to suppliers Ensure proper accounting of any government benefits, duties credit etc. Contract review in perspective of Revenue Recognition Review the cut-off documents for Dispatch Accounting in perspective of GST and SEZ compliance Support in TDS accounting and review of TDS returns Review the applicability of GST and ensure timely submission of returns. Play key role in support of various audits- Statutory, Tax, Internal and Transfer PricingPrepare and support in various analysis required as per business requirement. Coordinate and implement improvements to monthly close procedures ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Scope includes GST se-off, recovery, GST audits and TDS returns. Responsible for the implementation and deployment of actions to ensure an adequate environment of internal control related to SEZ and Compliance Process Establish and ensure accounting for Direct and Indirect tax and returns The candidate will be responsible for Indirect Tax, TDS return GST and SEZ related activities. He/she will be accountable for completeness, correctness and adherence of SEZ compliance. A key member of the Finance team and will have independent responsibility to close the SEZ, GST and Indirect tax Audits. The position reports to the Finance-Controller. This role is instrumental to ensure an adequate internal controls environment throughout the plant for indirect tax, SEZ and adherence to related statutory compliance Qualifications Requirement: CA/ICWA- Inter 4 to 6 Years of post-qualification experience Excellent knowledge of GST and SEZ procedures Excellent in Microsoft Excel Should have knowledge of Export & import Transactions and GST applicability thereon. Working knowledge under ERP (preferable MFGPRO & Oracle). Speaking local language (Kannada) will be preferred Strong interpersonal skills necessary to motivate and help direct the organization; exhibits managerial courage in defending a position and handling conflict Yes!
