Job Description

Intel is looking for highly motivated individuals to join and support our Greenfield Manufacturing fabrication site. Located outside of Columbus, Ohio we are a new site approved to build two Fabs to deliver Intel's current and future leading edge products and technologies. As a new Greenfield site we have the goal to staff the site with industry leading diverse talent. To enable that, we have a dedicated hiring team tasked with setting the overall talent strategy, defining the requirements and needed skillsets, and coordinating the recruiting of top technical talent.

In this Ohio position you will be responsible for managing talent data, processes and hiring to influence and enable Ohio's aggressive talent requirements. You will be required to partner with multiple Factory customers and stakeholders to develop and deliver processes, tools and dashboards to support Ohio hiring initiatives. Additionally, you will be required to partner with Factory Management, Finance and Human Resources Staffing to obtain input, analyze and interpret data and ensure business processes are followed. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for fab workforce POR planning based on Strategic Long-Range Plan.
  • Define and develop talent models by measure /quantifying labor content.
  • Setting functional areas workforce targets, and perform Performance against Schedule tracking through interactions with various stakeholders and Factory Specific Should Cost.
  • Defines site needs for allocation process following for hiring and staffing.
  • Executes various talent analysis.
  • Define productivity and measure it.
  • Perform benchmark with internal and external computation.
  • Solve day to day talent problems and provide alternative solutions.
  • Manage talent spending budget.
  • Define and develop infrastructure and systems for talent management.
  • Engaging with Individual factory departments to build, drive, and close hiring gaps.
  • Participating in Virtual Factory Network Talent benchmarking with other fabs around the world.
  • Facilitating talent processes such as hiring and employee movement for temporary assignments.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, manage and drive programs independently.
  • Strong knowledge with data analysis tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience establishing and tracking key performance metrics
  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills with the ability to deal with multiple demands on time.
  • Be passionate to lead large scale programs in partnership and through others
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and changing environment while showing an ability to manage excellent relationships with peers, employees, managers, business partners, and senior leaders.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years' experience in Hiring and Staffing roles/fields or business operations with a strong focus on data analysis and workforce planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Workday, Power BI, MS Tools (advance MS Excel skills, including formulas, pivots and macros).
  • Must be committed to working on high impact and high visibility projects with many stakeholders.
  • Competency in Intel financial (Plan, Plan of Record, Budgets and Purchase Orders) and experience with Intel's hiring processes is preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in Hiring and Staffing roles/fields or business operations/engineering experience in a High Volume Manufacturing environment.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
