Job Description

Intel is in an exciting time of growth and investment in support of our strategy to become the most successful semi-conductor company on the planet. This position is the lead Talent Acquisition Director of the next US greenfield mega-site, which is a large-scale, multi fab, 3000+ employee operation supporting Intel's internal and foundry wafer supply with production expected to start in 2025. This site is primed to become the largest semi-conductor plant in the world.


The Talent Acquisition Director will hire, build and manage the Talent Acquisition team to drive integrated talent acquisition solutions for our customers. We are seeking for a motivated Talent Leader to lead and manage the Talent Acquisition team for Ohio. This person will report directly to the VP HR Talent Planning & Acquisition.

In this role you will directly manage a Talent Acquisition team and will be accountable for end-to-end solutions to meet the talent needs for the business with direct responsibility for the IDM 2.0 Ohio expansion.

  • These solutions include, but are not limited to, sourcing plans to attract external talent, executing diversity hiring strategy and Intel hiring goals, and meeting customer talent needs.

  • To be successful in this role you will need to synthesize and reconcile Intel strategy and business group priorities to ensure the talent team is meeting the right set of imperatives.

  • You will be working closely with a large number of stakeholders in HR, the business, other COEs and outside recruitment providers to develop hiring plans and deliver the talent that will drive Intel's growth, at the right place and time.

  • Identifies and maintains solutions and contracts with outside recruiting sources and providers.

  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Establishes OKRs and work plans. Involved in developing, modifying, and executing company policies that may affect immediate company-wide effects.

  • Create a culture of agility and innovation where ideas for growth are encouraged across boundaries.

  • Creates solutions and resolves issues using data to deliver in-depth solutions and actions.

  • Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to maximize results. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on topics concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or customers.

  • Requires the ability to influence or gain acceptance from others in challenging situations. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets schedules, work plans and performance requirements.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You should possess a Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or other graduate degree with equivalent years of experience.

  • Proven leader with experience in a business facing role in HR or a similar area and demonstrated track record of results.

  • People and team management experience: Manage a strong and cohesive team and inspire and develop the team to deliver excellent results and constantly strive to extend their capability ability, hold the team accountable for results, and provide tools, coaching, recognition and rewards to motivate and energize the team.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and deliver results in a dynamic, cross-functional, matrixed and team-oriented environment able to build network, develop alliances and work through people.

  • Strong execution capability: Able to prioritize, devise action plans, negotiate for resources and support, drive collaboration and manage stakeholders to make and deliver to commitments through structured and pragmatic organizational processes.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, initiative, influencing, teamwork, business partnering and communication skills

  • Executive presence and influence: able to articulate an objective, principled and clear point of view to business leaders to establish personal credibility as a key member of senior business staff. Sought after by business and HR leaders for quality of insights, expertise, and influence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 to 12 years' HR experience with multinational companies or business support role in similar area- Business oriented and commercial approach to HR programs and initiatives ability to quickly understand, connect the dots and translate business priorities into HR implications and action focus.

  • Knowledge of Human Resource related principles and business processes, ability to generate solutions for a wide variety of Human Resources issues and developing a strong working knowledge of multiple Human Resources functions.

  • Good understanding of trends in HR, business environment and Finance.
