Our location in Columbus, Oh, currently has an opportunity for a Omni Shopper Insights and Strategy Manager - Walmart team. The Field-based Omni Shopper Insights and Strategy Manager will be the expert in developing and applying Omni Shopper Insights across all Abbott categories and brands, providing thought leadership and critical inputs into the strategy for the Walmart CBC team. The goal of the role is to be on the leading edge for the retailer integrating consumer, shopper, and analytic insights to drive vision and strategy for each category and brand.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Provide the retail customers and the cross-functional internal team actionable Omni insights detailing the shopper’s needs, attitudes, behaviors, and purchase triggers across all Abbott categories and brands.
Align retailer strategic opportunities/initiatives and integrate Walmart Inc. shopper insight needs within internal Learning Plan.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the retailer’s structure, strategies and priorities. Must understand category shoppers, the retail environment, and brand strategies to a level which enables the creation and execution of insight-based recommendations.
Continue to support Abbott as a strategic retail partner by being an Omni Category and brand insight knowledge source and WIC/SNAP expert.
Build and develop selling presentations to respond to retailer questions, competitive challenges and brand selling opportunities.
Provide Omni shopper insights through JBP process to ensure activation of brand initiatives.
Provide relevant Omni category and shopper insights to drive assortment, distribution, category placement, and aisle recommendations.
Applying POS information as it relates to shopper, brand, and category strategy.
Ability to pull & mine data from 3rd party resources, such as Kantar, Mintel, Euromonitor, and Numerator.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required
Bachelor’s degree required.
3-5 years’ experience CPG, retail, and/or shopper insights and analytic experience.
Ability to identify and utilize appropriate resources is required. Position will have frequent interaction with customer and have visibility with internal Management.
Ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
Strong partnership, communication, and prioritization skills are required to build productive relationships with cross functional team and external partners.
Ability to take initiative/ownership of projects and see through to completion.
Ability to use multiple information sources to identify key opportunities to drive both Abbott and retailer performance, and develop a cohesive, persuasive story.
Advanced PowerPoint, storytelling, and presentation skills.
