#### Position Description:


DCG Infrastructure and Operations is looking for an experienced network
infrastructure specialist to join our team in Taipei. The ideal candidate will
be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network
infrastructure to ensure smooth network operations. English language
proficiency preferred due to interaction requirements with teams worldwide.

We are looking for an individual who can support the future growth and
expansion of the DCG infrastructure network. The Network Infrastructure
Specialist will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, securing, and
updating DCG infrastructure used to support teams worldwide. Candidates for
this position are experienced working with Cisco networking equipment and are
well-versed in Linux, VMware, and Windows-based cloud computing solutions.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience at the enterprise
networking level.

In this role, you will be asked to perform activities such as:

• Providing network administration and support
• Ensure network security and connectivity
• Install and integrate new network hardware and applications
• Monitor network performance (availability, latency, throughput, and
utilization)
• Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades
• Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources

The DCG Infrastructure Network spans many areas of the business including
development, product assurance, product engineering, service, and
manufacturing worldwide.

#### Position Requirements:


•       Education: AAS level education in Networking related field or
equivalent level of field / work experience with network administration.
• Required: Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts
• Required: Experience with networking monitoring tools (eg: Cisco Prime,
Nagios, Wireshark)
• Required: Knowledge of advanced switch troubleshooting and problem
resolution
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Ability to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders
