MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Oncology Business Strategy Lead, the Oncology Business Strategy Manager plays a key role in driving OBU priorities and agenda, giving support and business advise to OBU teams and Franchises to align and influence the right strategic business direction. In this role you’ll be asked to work closely with the Franchise teams (Commercial and Medical) to ensure that business opportunities are optimized across OBU. Furthermore, you will support the Oncology Business Strategy Lead in defining and implementing strategic project as well as maximizing key initiatives across all franchises.
The role broadly includes the following key components:
- In collaboration with the Oncology Business Strategy Lead, the Franchise Heads and the Oncology Medical Affairs Head, define and review strategic priorities to improve the achievement of OBU results
- Optimize the interactions and alignments cross franchises to guarantee coherence of the initiatives to strategic priorities
- Support Franchise Core Teams in identifying synergies and best practices to be adopted in the Franchises
- Work closely with the Oncology Business Strategy Lead to guarantee an effective planning based on the right resources allocation
- Align and work with Value & Access and Medical to maximize value creation for our stakeholders
- Align and work with Digital team to drive cross franchise projects and initiatives within OBU
- Supervise and support the implementation of franchise plans and services
- Lead the OBU's commercial strategic projects cross franchises
- Integrate the agendas of the OBU, Franchises and the functions, aligning them with the OBU Strategy and Scorecard
- Deliver operational projects and innovative initiatives
- Ensure the quality of the operation and execution of cross-functional Oncology Field Teams
- Support and guide the ABMs in the preparation and presentation of the regional account plans of the local teams
- Ensure that all activities related to your job comply with applicable external and internal regulations (policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and code of conduct)
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3/5 years experience in Pharma business
- Strategic thinking and influencing
- Excellent project management skills
- Analytical skills
- Proactive approach and entrepreneurial spirit
- Orientation to innovation
- Planning and budgeting skills
- Written and Spoken proficiency in both English and Italian
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Finance background
- MBA
- Previous experience as consultant
- Previous experience in the Oncology therapeutic area
- Digital Expertise
