Oncology Diagnostic Specialist (Manager)
Purpose of the Job
Lead oncology diagnostics strategic planning and activities to enable optimal patient identification and treatment throughout the patient journey. This position will play a key role to work in appropriate coordination with the cross-functional team have diagnostic understanding and deliver education as appropriate to internal and external stakeholders and execute on tactical plans with scientific expertise of the testing environment and disease
Functional Capabilities (that are most critical to this position)
- Develop, evaluate and deliver the diagnostic strategy for the current and future Oncology products, play a role in managing companion diagnostics policy
- Optimize testing pathway by improving testing environment and enabling testing access through collaborative partnerships with diagnostic companies, lab networks, KOLs and HCPs
- Identify and collaborate with diagnostic and clinical opinion leaders to plan and execute activities to optimise the provision of diagnostics associated with the respective brands
- Help develop testing pathway robustness in major hospitals, including local protocol support, working on identifying and removing bottlenecks in testing pathways
- Build capability in internal and external stakeholders by delivering diagnostic related educational initiatives
- Establish diagnostic expertise in cross-functional team
- Collaborate with global / international / regional diagnostic teams
Essential Qualification
- Bachelor’s degrees and above
- Commercial / medical / diagnostic experience working at pharmaceutical or diagnostics company (including at minimum + 2 years of field experience)
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytics, and effective project management skills
- Demonstrated collaboration / interpersonal skills in working with cross-functional team
- Good command of English
