AstraZeneca’s vision in Oncology is to help patients by redefining the cancer-treatment paradigm.  We have brought four new compounds to patients in the last 5 years.  We have a broad pipeline of next-generation medicines focused on the following disease areas - breast, ovarian, lung, GI/GU, and hematological cancers. These are being targeted through four key platforms - immunotherapy, the genetic drivers of cancer and resistance, DNA damage response, and antibody drug conjugates, underpinned by personalized healthcare and biomarker technologies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Concord territory covers New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.   You will have the responsibility, honor and obligation of changing the practice of medicine in Lung Cancer by selling, changing HCP beliefs, and maintaining and documenting all sales activities for the AstraZeneca Oncology Lung portfolio of products. Your role will be to engage all relevant Multi-Disciplinary Teams, which includes HCPs in private practice, in group practices, in hospital settings, and oncology residency and fellowship programs within the territory, to uncover, address and eliminate gaps in the patient journey from identification to survivorship .  You will work with Account Directors, District Sales Managers, Diagnostic Managers, Regional Marketers, and PSS counterparts to develop and direct sales strategies at key accounts assigned in the territory, like Northern Light, Dartmouth Hitchcock & NECS.

You will be responsible for positioning AstraZeneca as a leader in Oncology through development of high quality, long term relationships with key customers and maintaining the highest level of clinical expertise by consistently utilizing all available resources.

Requirements include (but not limited to)

·       Bachelor’s degree

·       Oncology pharmaceutical sales preferred, or demonstrated application and success in pharmaceutical sales to physicians in other/related therapeutic areas

·       Proven track record of building and influencing customer relationships, and goal achievement

·       Demonstrated clinical selling skills with excellent communication and presentation

·       Demonstrated business acumen like account management and ability to work  collaboratively, lead and inspire cross functional teams

·       A valid driver’s license and safe driving record
