Job Description

About The Role:
Working closely with the Global Data Privacy Officer in the implementation of a Privacy Programme across the RWS Group. Privacy is a vital element of our Transformation programme and you will be providing strategic expert advice and direction on data protection, governance and accountability.  
You will be partnering with teams throughout the business creating solutions which achieve privacy compliance and ensure the business meets the requirements of our customers.

Main Duties Include:
* Becoming a recognised and trusted partner to the business providing advice and guidance on Privacy by Design
* Providing support with regard to privacy aspects of customer audits
* Provide guidance and support in the undertaking of DPIAs
* Oversee the processing of data subject rights requests in accordance with applicable law and within the legislative timescales
* Support response to Personal Data Incidents and provide expert guidance
* Develop strong relationships with Privacy Champions and Data Protection Officers throughout the business, providing support as required.
* Support the Group Data Privacy Officer in implementing RWS’s Privacy Programme and thereafter assist in maintenance of the programme.
* Support colleagues across the RWS Group with specialist advice and practical guidance on the implementation of the RWS Privacy Programme.
* Assist in the deployment of the OneTrust software, thereafter utilising the OneTrust software for data mapping, ROPA, DPIAs, TIA’s and Vendor management.
* Assist in the preparation of Privacy Notices, policies and processes. 
* Assist with the annual review of all privacy policies and processes in line with legislative changes and organisational requirements.
* Maintain an understanding of privacy legislation and regulation, advances in technology, cybersecurity developments and threats, in order to monitor changes, determining their impact on RWS Group activities and identifying associated risk.
* Assist the Group Data Privacy Officer to manage and maintain guidance and policies to ensure that RWS’s processes and procedures keep pace with technological, legislative and best practice developments.
* Support corporate functions (such as HR) to ensure that data processing activities are conducted in line with privacy requirements.
* Supporting the preparation and delivery of mandatory training in data protection, raising awareness of data protection to mitigate privacy risks.
* Supporting function in relation to supervisory authority –- prepare materials, coordinate communication

Requirements:
* OneTrust experience and Certification
* Knowledge and understanding of European and UK data protection law, with experience of other jurisdictions an advantage
* Project management experience
* Cybersecurity knowledge or willingness to learn
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Visio, Excel, Word, Sharepoint etc.)
