Key roles and responsibilities include:
- Responsible for understanding Business Requirements and break down user stories into test scenarios and test cases, validating the functionality
- Analyzing Functional Requirements and Automation Requirements, perform feasibility analysis.
- Creating Test Strategies, reviewing requirements with Business Users and preparing test Estimates with test Plan & design Automation scripts.
- Manage and track the status of test validations throughout the project lifecycle enforce and redefine as necessary
- Log defects in JIRA / other defect management tool and report the progress to the Leads.
- Document Test cases, Execution results, test data etc.. and maintain traceability matrix
- Detect dependencies on other systems/demands
- Collaborate with the Project IT teams to implement the defined solution
- Ensuring appropriate use of Daimler IT project management tools, governance, processes, policies and methodologies
- Participate in regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping their needs and requirements continuously in view and provide status updates
