The role will involve working with existing and new data sources, loading data into tools for analysis or presentation (e.g. dashboards), and presenting actionable insight across the UK function – to ensure that Lenovo is meeting our business objectives in supporting the customers online experience with our online retail (B2C) and reseller (B2B) partners. The role will require the ability to prepare, analyse and present, data and insight; • Extract - data from source, both structured and unstructured (Required). • Extract – familiarity with languages and tools like Python, web-scrappers and other tools to extract data from novel sources (Beneficial). • Transform – clean data, and create classification models (Required). • Load – integrate data into local and global tools; familiarity with data and visualisation tool (Required). • Load - Awareness / Understanding of text and sentiment analysis (Beneficial). • Analysis – experience with statistical analysis, visualisation, and presentation (Required). • Analysis – storytelling through data (Beneficial). • Analysis – bringing the story to a conclusion, presenting learnings, and next steps (Beneficial) • Technical – deep understanding of Excel (pivot, charts, statistics), visualisation platforms (e.g. PowerBI), and ideally programming (e.g. Python) Organization You will report to Online Business Development Manager, Production Management Team. #### Position Requirements: Are you the HERO that can support our customers as they move online?   Have you the skills and mindset to draw out the voice of the customer, analyse and find opportunity, reduce complexity, and present actionable insight to different teams? • Ideally 1-2 years practical data science/analytics experience. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or Economics (Required) • Demonstrable experience with data tools and programming languages (Beneficial) • Dynamic yet task-focused – able to adjust focus based on business priority and able to see data extraction and analysis, to insight and action. • A passion for the customer – putting the customer first, and challenging orthodoxy. • An empathic approach - Ability to integrate context into data analysis from other areas of business. • A scientific mind – listen to or create own hypothesis, test, accept failure, or defend. • Creative – not afraid to create and be open to critic; see new ways of doing things; resourceful to find work arounds and alternatives. • Presentation and storytelling – bring complex data to life, and give actionable insights to colleagues from management to front line staff.
