Siemens Healthineers has an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic, passionate and experienced Interventional Radiographer to join our Clinical Applications Team to support our high-end medical imaging key customers. The role will initially be to provide on site support in public hospitals in Western Sydney, with potential for other locations over time. You will be reporting to the Applications Team Leader – Advanced Therapies. This position enables you to work for an established medical imaging provider and be employed by a world market leader. This innovative role allows you to utilise your interventional lab skills in a fast paced environment while receiving training from our highly regarded team. The department operates during regular business hours; however, there may be out of hours, weekend, or on-call work opportunities. The role is ideally full-time though part-time may be considered for the right candidate. The current opportunity is for a 12 month fixed term contract, with potential to extend. Your tasks and responsibilities: Assist the on-site clinical team in providing a high-quality interventional radiology imaging service and applying your knowledge in selecting appropriate methods and processes whilst complying with clinical protocols and safety legislation. Contribute to innovative interventional radiology procedures and assist with developing and implementing improved techniques and standards. Provide professional support and technical advice to other radiographers, promoting best practice and a high degree of patient and team safety. Attention to detail; in all aspects of imaging service from patient wellbeing, examination, and close collaboration with the clinical Radiology and Siemens Healthineers teams. Undertake regular training to ensure your knowledge is up to date and assist in rolling out learning to the on-site team. Your qualifications and experience: You will have a successful track record in the clinical environment. Angiographic skills are essential. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously. You will have AHPRA registration, NSW radiation licence and preferably ASMIRT accreditation. You will hold a tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging. You will be passionate about patient care and safety and have extensive experience in interventional radiology.
