Open Source Support Engineer -- Technical Requirement

Responsibility

• Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux / Centos with GFS) system administration, configuration and troubleshooting for the clients.
• Troubleshooting for popular Open Source Software including PostgreSQL/MySQL, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Elastic Stack.
• Participate in system installation, maintenance of Linux and other open source software.
• Executing and writing Ansible Playbooks.
• Both remote and on-site support.

Requirements

• Knowledge in architecture (cluster, server daemons of those mentioned open source software.
• Experience in analyzing, troubleshooting, providing solutions for technical issues.
• Investigate Linux processes including checking opened files, system calls made by Linux process, etc.
• Using Linux command line tools, basic skill in bash scripting language.
• Inspecting system/application logs.
• Linux, application system, database backup/restore operation.
• Operating and troubleshooting RedHat Cluster Suite (including GFS,CLVM)
• Operating Kubernetes including troubleshooting, deploying cluster applications.
• Knowledge in Ansible Playbook, capable of writing Playbook based on existing Roles.
